ClimeFi is pleased to announce we have joined the Carbon Business Council as a Cornerstone Member

ClimeFi is pleased to announce its role as a Cornerstone Member of the Carbon Business Council (CO2BC), reinforcing our commitment to advancing technological carbon removals and supporting a network of leaders dedicated to driving these solutions forward.

The CO2BC is a coalition of over 100 companies and organisations committed to responsibly restoring the climate, collectively managing carbon assets valued at over $16.5 billion. The coalition plays a pivotal role in advocating for impactful policies, driving industry collaboration, and advancing sustainable carbon removal solutions.

The collaboration reinforces ClimeFi’s commitment to advancing a portfolio approach to carbon removals and supporting a network of leaders dedicated to driving these solutions forward. As a Cornerstone Member, ClimeFi will work alongside the CO2BC to demonstrate the importance of carbon removal in achieving climate goals and economic growth, contribute to meaningful events, and strengthen the overall carbon removal landscape.

The new partnership is fully aligned with ClimeFi’s ambition to expand its global footprint, with the US representing a key target market at the heart of the company’s growth strategy.

“There is increasing demand from companies in the U.S. and around the world to integrate carbon removal into corporate strategies, driving economic growth and job creation in the U.S. ClimeFi, which has facilitated millions of dollars of carbon removal transactions, is leading the way with an approach that boosts the economy and supports climate action,” said Ben Rubin, the Executive Director and Co-Founder of CO2BC

This approach aligns with ClimeFi’s commitment to the Global 1000 CDR Challenge, designed to mobilise corporate buyers and accelerate the deployment of carbon removal solutions at scale. By engaging the private sector, ClimeFi is driving market growth and helping bridge the gap between supply and demand in the carbon removal space.

“Joining the Carbon Business Council as a Cornerstone Member represents another key step in accelerating the adoption of carbon removal technologies for ClimeFi," said Paolo Piffaretti, Co-Founder and CEO of ClimeFi. "The US plays a central role in our growth strategy – and this partnership will allow us to collaborate with industry leaders and policymakers in the region to drive meaningful change and support the global transition to a sustainable, net-zero economy."
